STUDENT ROLE MODEL FUND

On 2:28 p.m. on May 12, 2008 an earthquake measuring 8.0 on the Richter Scale struck Sichuan Province in China. Currently, the death toll stands close to 50,000 but may well rise. Many schools have collapsed killing countless young students from kindergarten to middle school, while burying many, many others. The Beichuan Middle Schools, alone, lost close to 1000 lives.

So many young children have suddenly lost their entire families and loved ones leaving them orphans, often disabled as a result of serious injury. Physically and mentally these young kids have lost far more than words can ever discribe, but definately, they have lost their dreams, their role models, and their hope! We are working to quickly establish a highly personalized, 3-member role model teams among one U.S. college student, one U.S. high school student, and one earthquake orphan in China. We ask you, as caring young Americans, to be the new role models for these lost souls who have nowhere else to turn! Will YOU help?

Right now we are working to quickly set up 512 such teams among willing, kind-hearted participants. To do this we seek to:

1. Establish a donation pathway for each American student team to help their younger sister/brother in China continue going to school: $20 ($10 from the university student, $10.00 from the high school student) or more per month will help!

2. Saving money and reserving time to establish a future visit with her/him during the Silk Road to the Future trip in 2009 via the Role Model Program at the Sichuan Silk Banner Ceremony 2009.

3. Create a silk banner with the theme of "HOPE" to share with your Chinese team member once a year to teach them to again hope and dream for success.

4. To give them back their dream of the future by being their role model in whatever way you believe works the best.
